Privacy Policy

The short version: the calculators and converters on toolmate run entirely in your browser. Text you paste, numbers you type, and files you pick never leave your device. We collect minimal anonymous traffic data and run Google AdSense ads.
1. What we collect
We use privacy-respecting analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views and see which tools are popular. This data is aggregated; we don't store IP addresses, set tracking cookies, or build user profiles.
We do not collect:
- The text, numbers, or files you paste into a tool
- Your name, email, or any account information (no accounts exist)
- Cross-site browsing history
2. Cookies
toolmate itself sets no cookies. We may store a single
localStorage key for theme preference (light/dark) — that
stays in your browser and is never sent to us.
Third parties (Google AdSense, see below) may set their own cookies per their respective policies.
3. Google AdSense
We display ads via Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings.

Ad slots have no access to anything you typed into a tool — they receive only the page URL and standard advertising context.
4. Hosting
toolmate is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL) are retained briefly by Cloudflare for security and reliability purposes per their privacy policy. We don't access these logs at the row level.
5. Children's privacy
toolmate is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Because we don't collect personal data ourselves, there's typically nothing for us to delete or hand over. For data Google AdSense may hold, use the Google Privacy Policy process.
7. Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
